Vito from Woodbridge, ON reported on Wednesday, October 06, 2010, buying a 2011 BMW 1 Series, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP.
Be up front with your intentions (i.e. point out you have a CCC report) and if the dealer is a participating member, you'll have a great experience. Jay R. was a great salesman, no pressure, seemed genuinely interested in helping out. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a BMW. The overall experience was excellent.

Shawn from Kitchener, ON reported on Saturday, November 01, 2008, buying a 2009 BMW 1 Series, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP.
John contacted me after I priced a 128i Coupe on CarCostCanada. I was actually looking for a 135i cabriolet, but I couldn't get the pricing on it. John was friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He also offered me a fair deal via email right off the bat. I ended up going with the 2009 rather than the 2008 I priced as I wanted the new Navigation and iDrive that came out for the 2009. He also got me a great value on my trade. I would recommend Maranello BMW and John Rappos to anyone.

Jeffrey from Toronto, ON reported on Friday, May 08, 2009, buying a 2009 BMW 1 Series, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP.
Mike Venneri of Maranello BMW called me to see if he could quote after seeing that I had pulled a report on CarCostCanada. He knew I was informed; I already had prices from two other dealers; he beat their price. He did it all over the phone and via e-mail; it was quick and painless. He appreciated that I was informed and ready to buy. I appreciated that he didn't jerk me around and just gave me the best price. It was a pleasure working with Mike.

BMW makes a great car. Repeat customers at Maranello are appreciated which can be rare with other manufacturers. This report was very helpful to us in coming up with an offer that pleased both us and the dealer.

I had a positive experience purchasing a 335i coupe from Michael Tauro at Maranello. He knew I had the report as he contacted me by e-mail as a result of my obtaining the report. I brought my Carcost report and negotiated based on a price reduction taking into account the $2500.00 rebate shown on the report. I paid less than 2% mark up from wholesale. The rebate gives Maranello the ability to make this kind of deal. I was also given an excellent trade-in value for my current vehicle. They appear to be highly motivated to make deals (it is obviously a buyer's market these days - especially if you can get your own financing and pay cash). No question that my $31.00 investment in a Carcost Canada membership has paid for itself.

Trust CarCostCanada to help you get the best deal. Always talk to the dealer in %age terms, they are very % focused and don't care about actual $s.

Ali from Brampton, ON reported on Sunday, February 08, 2009, buying a 2008 BMW 3 Series, and saving $10,000 off of MSRP.
The dealer called me after I purchased the report. I made him aware that I was aware of the pricing and was going to be negotiating from the invoice price up rather than the MSRP down. I validated all the cost information on the phone with the dealer from the report. After which I went into the dealership and negotiated a markup from the cost price.

I have used Car Cost Canada twice in the purchase of my last two (new) vehicles and could not ever imagine entering a sales transaction without this report. From my experience the negotiations are expedited with the Dealer Sales Rep because your starting point is the dealer price and now it's only a matter of reaching a final sale price that both parties deem fair.

Hani from Toronto, ON reported on Saturday, May 02, 2009, buying a 2009 BMW X3, and saving $3,000 off of MSRP.
Always do the math. Calculate the dealer's cost of the car minus any incentives given by the manufacturer. Be careful about the incentives as dealers will try and down play all the incentives. This will add to their profit. During this slow down, you can purchase nice vehicles with huge incentives and almost at the dealer's cost.

Jason from Mississauga, ON reported on Friday, June 13, 2008, buying a 2008 BMW X5, and saving $6,000 off of MSRP.
Matt Johnston from Maranello BMW was excellent. He contacted me from the info CarCostCanada provided him. He was very helpful in searching for a right truck for me comparing to another dealership I visited earlier, which basically told me there was no availability for several more months and they have to order it for me, plus wasn't willing to negotiate the price much. Matt is very flexible in negotiating the price and was very up front.

Dealers are pricing very competitively. Try and deal directly with the sales manager rather than an associated for the best deal. Car cost was a great tool
