| Laurent from Quebec, QC reported on Tuesday, December 27, 2011, buying a 2012 Honda Civic Sdn, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. Choice was made solely on price/monthly payment. Dealer was nearest home. The first quoted price was $1500 over retail. Thanks to carefull preparation (we tried and got preliminary quotes on 6 other vehicles) and Carcost price reports, we only had to state what we were ready to pay based on report and that was that. Of course, the dealer quote included a «free» set of winter tires (that we would have ended up paying 3 times the normal selling price). Still dealer offered us tires for much over normal price. I recommend being fully prepared with this dealer, staff do not work for customers... |  | |

Bring a copy of the report as well as your laptop with Excel installed on it to be able to recompute the dealer's profit margin when they offer you to add winter tires or other items to the car at discount. |  | |
