I used my Car Cost Canada Wholesale Dealer Invoice Price on a new 2008 Honda Accord EX sedan added 3% markup, added freight $1390, added fuel tax $75, air tax $100 and subtracted the $2,000 Stackable rebate from the factory. Multiplied total by 5% GST which is Honda's current promo, and 8% PST. And then subtracted the $1,000 consumer rebate. A $5,000 savings from MSRP. I paid cash which helped with the deal. Otherwise I would have lost some of my buying power (a portion of the $2,000 stackable rebate) by choosing a financing or leasing option. I looked on E-bay for the same car and would probably have saved an additional $850. But you have to find a US dealer that will sell you the car, travelling costs to U.S, RIV application fee $, safety inspection $, installation of an immobilizer $800 and probably 2 days off from work. I thought things were fair. |  | |

I didn't get a discount, but I got some free and discounted accessories, which is much more than most people who have purchased this vehicle so far, due to its demand. I am not convinced CCC played any part in my doing better than most others. | | |
