Buying a 2011 Volvo XC60, and saving $4000 off of MSRP.
Originally I wasn't planning to buy this vehicle at all. We were driving to another dealership to test drive an SUV we were interested in and this Volvo delearship was along the way. Stopped in and the sales rep. Mark told us about their 0% financing offer. We looked at both the XC60 and XC90. We settled on the XC60 and started negotiating. It sounded like a good offer but I told Mark that I needed to think about it. Went home and entered the vehicle in CarCost and found out that he was offering me a good deal. Did all our haggling by email and phone (I'm now a HUGE fan of negotiating this way) and by the end of the day came to the agreed upon price of $48,250. This was before the September dealer incentive of $1,000. So, I'm surprised they agreed to this price when it's not much more than their Dealer Cost.
