The wholesale price report was helpful in negotiating the deal because I knew how much room the dealer had to negotiate.
Unfortunately, the car companies and dealer are charging a bunch of additional charges (lease fee, admin charges) that are not known ahead of time. The sales rep claimed these are not negotiable but I think, this is just added to their profit margin.

The Car Cost Canada report was actually not as helpful as I thought it would be. Peter made us an offer and then we told him that we had a Car Cost Canada report and after comparing the information, it turns out he was charging us only around $200 above the wholesale price, not including tax or the interest rate for leasing. And as usual, we were able to get him to throw in floor mats, locking wheel nuts, and touch up paint for free with our car purchase.
