I was able to negotiate price via email. I did use the wholesale price report in the negotiation. Dealer sale rep also showed me the dealer wholesale price for the prius which is the same amount that I got from the wholesale price report. I chose this dealer because it's near where I work, I can test drive during lunch hour and the dealer provides pickup service and drive back for the test drive, and be able to negotiate via email is a plus.
