Good experience!

Have purchased vehicle from salesperson and dealer in the past. Wholesale price report did not play a factor in the negotiations due to the shortage of vehicles available. The tsunami that hit Japan has put this vehicle in the hot selling/ high demand category and thus dealer was not willing to negotiate on the price.

The report provided us a good baseline to negotiate from and made our negotiations easier.

Car cost referred me to two dealers, Okotoks Honda and Country Hills Hyundai. Both were ready and willing to meet with me and arrange test drives of the vehicles. Okotoks Honda was just too far from my home to consider as my dealer. Country Hills Hyundai was closer but it I had chosen the Hyundai I likely would have gone to Calgary Hyundai which again was closer to my home. In the end I chose to deal with T and T Honda my past dealer who were aware of my car cost report and were accommodating in making a good deal. I determined the HRV better met my needs and the free oil changes at T and T have always served me well. I felt that having the car cost report allowed me to come into the process better prepared and the dealers knowing that I had done my research treated me like a serious buyer. I was however disappointed that the initial quote for the Hyundai Tucson was way above the MRSP. When I identified this they told me that should I choose the them I would save thousands The quote I initially got on the Honda HRV was right on the MRSP.
