Very easy to make a deal. As negotiations started I placed the CarCost printout on their desk and said I was prepared to pay x price for the car and not a penny more or I would keep going to other dealers until someone was pepared to pay that price. They accepted the price with no haggling. The process took less than an hour. Couln't have been easier.

Leasing a 2011 Subaru Legacy, and saving $2500 off of MSRP.
I have been a loyal Honda owner for 18 years but after driving my son's Impreza and being impressed with the all wheel drive I decided to look at the Legacy as well as the Accord Coupe. The Accord's residual was much lower than the Legacy (approx. $3000) making the monthly lease payments higher. Additionally, the Honda sales rep. was reluctant to agree with a 3% markup over wholesale cost, he wanted 4.5% to 6%! The Subaru sales rep. was very open to my Car Cost Canada pricing information, it took roughly 5 minutes for him to talk with the manager and return with an offer of 3% over wholesale. This was before I had asked for this price! The remaining details were a pleasure to work out, none of the typical pressure for extended warranty, rustproofing, etc. I highly recommend both the Car Cost Canada pricing report and Subaru of Hamilton.
