| Marta from Oakville, ON reported on Sunday, December 12, 2010, buying a 2011 Subaru Forester, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP. The dealer perservered in getting my business and the price report established a price point from which to get offers. | ![]() | |
| GARRY from BURLINGTON, ON reported on Saturday, September 26, 2009, buying a 2010 Subaru Forester, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. I told them I had the wholesale price and I would give them 4% as there profit. They came back 2 minutes latter and said OK. No hassles. They didn't try to pressure me in to buying the extended warranty, rust proofing etc. I got snow tires and a hitch at dealer cost. Easiest new car buying experience I have every had. No back and forth poker games with the sales manager. I was up front and so were they. | ![]() | |
| Patrick from Hamilton, ON reported on Thursday, July 30, 2009, buying a 2009 Subaru Forester, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I brought my print out with me and Gary asked me what price do I need to hit. I told him my # and he said, "We will do that" and no further negotiation was needed. | ![]() | |
| Cleveland from Grimsby, ON reported on Monday, October 13, 2008, buying a 2009 Subaru Forester, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. Suburu's record for reliability. The dealer was the closest to home. I mentioned ccc and the ball started rolling. Before the dealer was not willing to lower the price, quoting new vehicle and increased sales. | ![]() | |

| MORREALE from Hamilton, ON reported on Wednesday, December 26, 2007, buying a 2008 Subaru Forester, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I bought the vehicle during the Boxing week sale. The sales rep brought up the invoice price without me having to mention the fact that I had the CCC price in my pocket; very reasonable to deal with. | ![]() | |

| Robert from Niagara Falls, ON reported on Wednesday, March 18, 2009, buying a 2009 Subaru Impreza, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. The car is for my wife, whose previous lease on a 2005 Jetta TDI was coming to an end. She had loved her Jetta but we went to the Auto Show in Toronto where she also looked at other makes. She liked the Impreza as soon as she sat in it. We then went to the Subaru website and found that the nearest dealer to us (in Niagara Falls) is in Hamilton. We found them very helpful and low pressure in their sales approach. After test driving both a Jetta and an Impreza we then checked the Wholesale Price Reports. We found that there really wasn't a big mark-up on the Impreza. My wife decided she was going to go with the Impreza. We made an appointment to meet with the Sales Rep with whom we'd met previously. When I showed him the Wholesale Price Report, he was very agreeable and we discussed what we thought would be a fair profit for them. We stated what we thought (leaving a little negotiation room) and he went to talk with his sales manager. A few minutes later he was back and then we started to do the paperwork. It was very easy and painless! | ![]() | |

| Colin from Hamilton, ON reported on Monday, January 24, 2011, buying a 2011 Subaru Legacy, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP. I have been a loyal Honda owner for 18 years but after driving my son's Impreza and being impressed with the all wheel drive I decided to look at the Legacy as well as the Accord Coupe. The Accord's residual was much lower than the Legacy (approx. $3000) making the monthly lease payments higher. Additionally, the Honda sales rep. was reluctant to agree with a 3% markup over wholesale cost, he wanted 4.5% to 6%! The Subaru sales rep. was very open to my Car Cost Canada pricing information, it took roughly 5 minutes for him to talk with the manager and return with an offer of 3% over wholesale. This was before I had asked for this price! The remaining details were a pleasure to work out, none of the typical pressure for extended warranty, rustproofing, etc. I highly recommend both the Car Cost Canada pricing report and Subaru of Hamilton. | ![]() | |

| William from Ancaster, ON reported on Monday, December 21, 2009, buying a 2010 Subaru Legacy, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I knew the car I wanted to purchase was in high demand so my offer was to split the retail/dealer cost difference 50/50 and it was immediately accepted which made me think I should have offered a lower price. However I was pleased with some advice the dealership owner gave me about additional charges which saved me another $200. The delivery date that they told me was changed after the sale but I kicked up a stink about it and they committed to make sure I had a loaner vehicle if the car didn't arrive on the agreed to date. Usually I look at purchasing a car about the same as going to the dentist, but apart from the delivery date issue I was very happy with the purchase experience. | ![]() | |

| norm from Grimsby, ON reported on Thursday, October 20, 2011, buying a 2012 Subaru Outback, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. Very easy to make a deal. As negotiations started I placed the CarCost printout on their desk and said I was prepared to pay x price for the car and not a penny more or I would keep going to other dealers until someone was pepared to pay that price. They accepted the price with no haggling. The process took less than an hour. Couln't have been easier. | ![]() | |
