Mike from Red Deer, AB reported on Saturday, February 06, 2010, buying a 2010 Dodge Ram 1500, and saving $4,000 off of MSRP.
Used the report to verify that what the dealer was quoting as cost + was true. Once I was happy with the comparison we came to a final determination of what model of truck to buy. Went in with a SLT and some options, turned into a Laramie ($3300 more and way more options, wife wanted heated seats) and then a Sport with everything but the moon roof. We ordered the truck so that any new incentives being offered means we will get the best that comes along. When we first started looking it was Dec.09 $5250 Jan.10 $5750 Feb.10 $7250 Mar.10 $ who knows

Ron from Red Deer, AB reported on Wednesday, May 27, 2009, buying a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500, and saving $5,000 off of MSRP.
The dealer cost was bang on. The dealer wanted 4% profit ($2000) The incentives are a bit confusing so spend time going through those and determine which ones apply.

I shopped the prices and purchased at my local dealer. I feel you get better service at your home dealer. I told the dealers what I was willing to pay and once I found a dealer that was willing to except that the other dealers followed suit. Remember that the dealer needs to make money too. If they deal too cheap they may not be in business to service you.
