Steven from Richmond, BC reported on Friday, September 10, 2010, buying a 2010 Acura CSX, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP.
Mentioned and showed the CarCostCanada report and offered 3% profit for dealer, which was accepted. Also went towards the end of the month (when they are more inclined to deal to reach monthly sales targets).

Heidi from Vancouver, BC reported on Sunday, May 24, 2009, buying a 2009 Acura CSX, and saving $3,000 off of MSRP.
Shop around and make sure you check car cost canada or ask the dealer what rebates are on. I had to wait a couple months or two before I got the deal I wanted. I did my research, and Gurp treated me very well. I felt he was sincere and that he did try to get me the best deal. I would definitely recommend him to other members.

This is my 2nd MDX. I really like the performance and handling of the vehicle. During negotiations with the dealer I felt more in control because of the dealer cost information I received from CarCost. My savings included an $8500 rebate to the dealer from Acura and I was able to negotiate a purchase price 3% over invoice. Thank you CarCost. I have referred you to other friends who are in the market for a new vehicle.

Matthew from Richmond, BC reported on Sunday, February 08, 2009, buying a 2009 Acura MDX, and saving $8,000 off of MSRP.
The report gave me the knowledge of knowing what the incentives from the manufacturer was.

Andrei from North Vancouver, BC reported on Thursday, September 11, 2008, buying a 2008 Acura MDX, and saving $10,000 off of MSRP.
I took the invoice price from the WPR, deducted all the rebates available at the time and used that price as a starting negotiating point. As a result I saved more than 10K. Good website, although I wish information about invoice prices was available for free as it is on some US websites :)

Harinderpal from New Westminster, BC reported on Tuesday, August 26, 2008, buying a 2008 Acura MDX, and saving $9,000 off of MSRP.
I went straight to the point and advised them I knew the cost and asked them how much margin they wanted to make. It made negotiations very easy.

Go at the second last day of the month just before closing to negotiate. Going on the very last day of the month is also good, but could limit some flexibility unless you are extremely certain of the purchase. Secondly, calculate the margins and be up front to tell them the margin they'll make. The Dealer appreciates that. Thirdly, dealerships make the manufacturer rebates back, so be careful to negotiate around the rebate to ensure you get an optimal discount.

Chris from Vancouver, BC reported on Monday, February 16, 2009, buying a 2009 Acura RDX, and saving $4,000 off of MSRP.
Larry at Richmond Acura was great to deal with. He was courteous, professional, and easy to deal with. The whole leasing experience was very simple and relatively stress free. The dealership, sales rep, business office, insurance rep and overall service at Richmond Acura was first rate. The Wholesale Price Report gave me the knowledge and confidence to negotiate a fair and reasonable price.

Use CarCostCanada and do your research.

Asad from Burnaby, BC reported on Wednesday, July 22, 2009, buying a 2008 Acura RDX, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP.
Car Cost Canada introduced me to the dealer. The wholesale price report would have helped save a lot more had I paid cash and bought the car outright.

Craig Stewart is the best person to deal with. I have bought over 10 cars in the last 30 years and by far, Craig was the most helpful and easiest to deal with. I absolutely would recommend Craig and his Richmond Acura dealership. I showed him the car cost print out and we hammered out a deal with no dickering.
