| jeff.carson from Dundas, ON reported on Friday, August 26, 2011, buying a 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche, and saving $10,000 off of MSRP. The wholesale price report was nice to see but it was not helpful. There is a comment on the report for employee pricing, however, this employee pricing was not shown. My purchase price ended up being more than $12K discounted on the 2011 avalanche Z71. | ![]() | |

| David from Binbrook, ON reported on Wednesday, June 18, 2008, buying a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. I originally negotiated a fair price with another Hamilton area Chevrolet Dealer, but found their attitude towards the consumer having access to the dealer price information to be very negative. After tough negotiations regarding the price for the new car and the value of my trade as well as some very negative comments from the New Car Sales Manager, I decided it best to leave and find another dealer to purchase from. When I left the first dealership and went to Queenston Chevrolet in Hamilton, I discussed with them the price negotiated at the other dealer and provided them a copy of the CarCost Canada report. They were more than eager to deal with me, gave me a "slightly" better trade-in and made the whole experience much more enjoyable. Queenston Chevrolet treated me with respect and fairness. They spent more time explaining the details and there was never any pressure. A purchaser who researches the desired vehicle completely and can get any advantage to help reduce the cost of a vehicle is an educated consumer. A dealership who recognizes and respects this is always the better choice to deal with. | ![]() | |
