| Marc from richmond, BC reported on Friday, November 28, 2008, buying a 2009 Nissan Rogue, and saving $2,500 off of MSRP. I took the Dealer cost and added 3%. The dealer accepted it right away but tried to make me pay the Air conditioning fee which was already included in my calculation. Be careful with some of those "hidden" costs. | ![]() | |
| Victor from Richmond, BC reported on Sunday, January 13, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Rogue, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP. Things to remember: PDI is paid by the dealer back to Nissan (and therefore cannot be negotiated); check if there are any administrative costs that dealership must pay for any pricing promotions; see if you can get any "pre-paid VISA" as a cash reduction off the car's price. | ![]() | |
| Edward from Bowen Island, BC reported on Thursday, January 31, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Rogue, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. He e-mailed a quote through Car Cost Canada. The price was a 2.7% mark-up on the dealer cost price of the car, with no mark-up on the premium package. We did everything by e-mail, and I had the car four days after I did the test drive. | ![]() | |
| Robert from Port Moody, BC reported on Wednesday, January 30, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Rogue, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. We selected the vehicle after extensive test-drives and feature comparison because it fit our family's needs best for a reasonable price. Bill was excellent at prompt quotes and he was below what our local Nissan Dealer was willing to offer for the exact vehicle we wanted (and he even had it in stock). It was well worth the 45 minute drive to Richmond. The wholesale price information was actually beneficial at both Nissan and Honda to arrive at prices well below MSRP, and without haggling. We just told dealers to make us an offer after informing them that we had a CarCostCanada report about the true cost of the vehicle, including promotions. They did the rest. | ![]() | |

| Valentin from Coquitlam, BC reported on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, buying a 2008 Nissan Versa, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. Dealer was very willing to sell a car at prices suggested by Carcostcanada. More than that, the whole purchasing process took less than the insurance paperwork process. This process gives the buyer the peace of mind that the price paid is fair. It takes away the suspicion that a better deal could be obtained from a different dealer. | ![]() | |
