I chose the dealer with the most inventory of the car I wanted because I knew they would be interested in working out a good deal to move their overstock in inventory. I made sure the dealer had the EXACT model I wanted. If they have to trade with another dealer or buy the car from another dealer, the other dealer will want a "cut" of the profits which will come out of YOUR pocket. I made sure my CarCostCanada report was visible to the dealer so that they knew I was serious about buying the car and I wasn't going to waste their time. As a result they didn't waste my time by playing the "offer a high price and go down from there" | | |
