I got a price quote from the recommended vendor provided by Car Cost, but it was not a dealership. It was a broker. In this scenario the purchase would be akin to a fleet customer. I preferred to go to a bricks and mortar dealership. I used the broker quote and Car Cost report at multiple dealerships with an "I'll walk away" attitude to drive the price down. Now I have a good deal and I will enjoy the perks of a retail purchase as opposed to a fleet deal. For example, I'll get a loaner Lexus for every service call, not just on warranty work exceeding a time threshold determined by Lexus. | | |
