We chose this vehicle in the end as it was an Employee Pricing event (which all but negated needing the Price Report..but it was great to have the numbers just the same). The SRX is just a beautiful vehicle and practically sold itself! We found the dealership to be very helpful, upfront and it was one of the best buying experiences we've had. All other dealers were good, some better than others, and the Wholesale Price Report certainly helped during all negotions even on the cars we eventually turned down. I have to say that the VW dealer was the only one who openly expressed a dislike to dealing with people who had CCC price reports with them (we also found the salesman very poorly informed on some basic aspects of the vehicle). It is worth repeating that having the CCC report to work from is an excellent tool for the buying/negotiating process and really did enable us to work from a position of knowledge..every preliminary deal we worked out left us feeling confident and not fearing ''being rooked or fooled into'' overpaying. |  | |
