Dealers play games with prices of items that are not included in the option list. Stick to you guns and don't accept add-on items. Do it after the deal is done.

I got the wholesale price from carcost and assumed the dealer's profit will be 3-4%. I used that price range as my start point and bottom line to negotiate, but the first dealer asked for a quite high price which is up to 7% higher than the wholesale price; I then gave up and contacted Garden Motorcar by e-mail, told them that I had got a quota from another dealer and wondered could he give me a better price, he replied to me shortly and told me he can definitely give me a better price; I went to see the dealer and started the negotiation again, eventually I got a good deal (I believe it's a good deal, hopefully I am right), it's wholesale price +3.34% + TAX; I do recommend you contact more dealers, start to negotiate from the whole price + 3% (or lower), if no deal, try another dealer with a little higher price until you are satisfied with the offer.
