Steve from Sherwood Park, AB reported on Wednesday, February 04, 2009, buying a 2009 Mazda MAZDA3, and saving $500 off of MSRP.
When the dealer knew that I had a CarCost report with me the negotiations were very simple. He showed me the cost of the options already installed and I signed. The vehicle had other options installed from a previous pending purchase that I wasn't able to look up. Knowing he wasn't that far off the mark was complete peace of mind. It was the easiest buying experience. I've had my old car serviced there for the last 12 years and would recommend them as very customer service oriented.

Hector from Sherwood park, AB reported on Wednesday, May 06, 2009, buying a 2009 Mazda MAZDA5, and saving $1,000 off of MSRP.
The reason I chose the Mazda 5 was because of the fuel economy, as well as the number of passengers the vehicle is able to carry. The negotiation process was quite simple since the dealer did not have power over negotiation anymore.

We searched far and wide for an ''08 GT with Auto transmission (Mazda was offering a $3000 incentive on ''08 models) but couldn't find the color we wanted. I had to settle for an '09 without the incentive. I am satisfied with the purchase and the dealer.

Martin from Edmonton, AB reported on Wednesday, November 26, 2008, buying a 2009 Mazda MAZDA6, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP.
It was good that we were dealing from cost rather than from MSRP but it would have been helpful if there was an affiliated CarCostCanada dealer in Edmonton to provide a comparison. Since this is a brand new vehicle, there was certainly less room for movement than if we were dealing on a vehicle in the 2nd or 3rd model year. I still think I got a better price than I would have received without the price report.
