The dealer denied that one of the factory rebates listed on carcost did not exist but I used that info in my offer. I had previously purchased vehicles from Eagle Ridge and their service department is excellent. The vehicle prep was outstanding, the finance representative excellent, the sales manager very good, and the sales representative mediocre. I initially visited the dealership and finally got an estimate as to the difference between a new truck and my 08 Sierra. I then subscribed to CarCostCanada and with the price report, I was able to go back and negotiate a substantially lower price. As a result of my subscription, I was also contacted by a sales representative from Carter GM. |  | |

In both situations the dealer realized that there was no more point in pretending that they were going to consider my offers and see if they could get me to move closer to their price.
