Buying a 2011 Ford F-150, and saving $10000 off of MSRP.
I used the CarCostCanada report in conjunction with an internet offer that I found to negotiate my price. The dealer was originally going to source me the vehicle locally, however, he was unable to find one and agreed to honour the price we negotiated on a build-to-order instead. I have ordered a 2011 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCrew with the 3.5-litre EcoBoost engine, Tow Package, XTR Package, XLT Convenience Package, Rearview Camera, Bed Liner, Mats and Splash Guards. At the time of writing, the MSRP for this spec vehicle on ford.ca website is $47,178 + HST. The price I'm paying is $32,362 + HST.
