Buying a 2011 Chevrolet Avalanche, and saving $10000 off of MSRP.
Good dealership in the greater Edmonton area, ready to negotiate and quote promptly online. Efficient and reasonable with the paperwork etc. over 20 k off msrp with factory and dealer discounts. The wholesale report and reference to CarCost were mentioned to let the dealer know I was serious and knowledgeable.
Buying a 2011 Chevrolet Camaro, and saving $7000 off of MSRP.
I found this dealers ad with posted prices on 2011 Camaros on the internet. The dealers prices were only $200 to $400 more than the wholesale price (with factory incentives accounted for). A factory incentive was due to expire and I jumped at the chance to buy this car at dealers advertised price, thinking that the vehicles prices would jump by $2500 when the incentive expired.
I have always wanted a camaro. I find the new body style appealing. I can afford the car. I will never be able to buy this car new at this price again. So I bought it.
