Buying a 2017 Honda CR-V, and saving $750 off of MSRP.
The dealership provided excellent service Lyle was an attentive , efficient and very patient salesperson . He went out of his way to ensure that the features of the new car would fit all the requests we had . One criteria we had was to check out was that my 87 year old, mobility challenged, Mother in Law( who does not have the energy for car shopping trips ) had to be able to get in and out of the back seat of the car Lyle made the effort to bring the car to our house so that she could conveniently try the access to the car before we bought. Thanks Lyle for making this car purchase stress free!

Don't go along with the sales patter. They will start you off with a spiel about how tight the margins are and offer a choice between a couple of hundred off the MSRP or the accessories at cost. Quickly go to the difference between MSRP and Wholesale (or Dealer invoice ) offer them 3% over Invoice and seek accesories at cost too. When asked would that close the deal its now your choice to press for more or say yes and wait for next step which will be the sales mgr response. Also don't accept a handling/documentation charge or any other spurious fees. They'll waive on those without balking particularly if it's late in a slow month.
