I wouldn't recommend to go straight to the preferred dealer on the report. They are not very flexible. For the Toyota, I was referred to Markville Toyota, who refused to go below what they offered intially. They tried to make me believe they were offering the best deal in town. The best way to get a good deal is to let the dealers bid for your business. I got the rate from Markville and sent an email to all Toyota dealers in GTA with what car I want and the price Markville quoted. Soon, I was bombarded with calls and the lease rate started to drop dramatically. I saved $22 on monthly lease payment at the end. Car cost reports are a very good starting point, then you have to hustle for a good deal. | | |

I chose Brimel because I have bought a couple of cars from them before and they are the closest dealer to my home. I used the Wholesale Price Report by offering them a 3% profit on their invoice price which of course I knew from the report and they accepted. If you can get 3% above invoice price, then you are getting a very good deal since most dealers won't take anything less than 4.5% | | |

The new Toyota Corolla 2009 Sport has all the features I was looking for plus the reliability and maintenance-free reputation for Corollas. I bought my first car from Brimell and did my car test drives with them. Although, they were not listed as the preferred dealership in the car cost sheet, I decided to give them the opportunity for the sale. They asked to see the report and honoured the Car Cost Pricing without any questions. Both the Sales Lady and the Manager were very open and straightforward. The transaction experience was very pleasant. The meeting with the Sales Manager (the person who describes the extended warranty, rust proof options... ) was also very straight forward and did not push or use any pressure tactics once he knew that we just wanted the car without the added expenses. Overall, I am happy I went to Brimell. It was an excellent experience and they located the car within 4 business days. | | |
