| Chris from Duncan, BC reported on Friday, February 06, 2009, buying a 2009 Acura MDX, and saving $10,000 off of MSRP. Car Cost is a valuable tool and will save you $ on your next car purchase without question. No beating around the bush let them know what you have and see how it compares and start your negotiations. Follow the recommend procedures Car Cost suggest and you will come away happy! Car buying does not have to be a nightmare it’s just a numbers game that works in your favor. Enjoy the purchasing experience finally as you have all you need. Be prepared and run your numbers ahead of time and have the sales person go over the additional costs as there are some expenses that are not public such as $300.00 for scribing all panels with theft detection and 100.00 for lockable lug nuts which should be inclusive in the Invoice price! Lastly, be prepared to walk away and try another dealer if you do not get your price. The Incentives at present on this model make it an attractive purchase until March 03, 2009. Take advantage of this as the vehicle is comfortable, and has all the amenities one will need as well as the reliability and resale. Insurance Cost in B.C to insure vehicle with 10 years safe driver is $1600.00 with 20% write off coverage. Optional 100% new parts plan for 5 years an additional 1500.00 if one is interested? Additional undercoating, Paint protection etc not required: Save your money and buy yourself a wide Screen TV instead or buy the optional Insurance coverage above for your vehicle. I say this as my daughter just had a rear end accident in her car and it was written off and received less than replacement value. Hope this helps someone else with their new vehicle purchase. Please say hello to Frank Bos at Victoria Acura he is a fine person indeed with over 20 years at the dealership and will look after you! Note: For those that feel premium fuel is a minus do not be discouraged as the comfort and power that this vehicle will give you in addition to all its safety features out ways it all. Other vehicles looked at and almost purchased where Lexus 350, and Toyota Highlander priced at $63000.00 and $56000.00 tax in respectively. The Acura offered more in terms of comfort and build quality in the interior was superior for the money one is spending! This is just my opinion and observations after numerous test drives and crawling through each vehicle extensively. Oh...get "All weather" mats into the deal up front as you will want these and wish you had them later! :) Please say hello to Frank while your down there!:) Chris and Christine Wilson | ![]() | |

| Bruce from Victoria, BC reported on Friday, November 14, 2008, buying a 2009 Acura RDX, and saving $5,000 off of MSRP. I dealt with Acura of Victoria because they indicated that they would deal wholesale to wholesale which is the way I have negotiated new cars for several years. I used the information contained in the car cost canada report, to start negotiations. The dealer also gave me $2500 more than the top black book price for my trade in. The dealer's cash incentive contained in the report proved to be a very useful negotiating tool. | ![]() | |

| Alan from Chemainus, BC reported on Monday, October 01, 2007, buying a 2008 Acura RDX, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. The wholesale price report allowed me to form a much better idea of how competitive the dealer's offer was. This was particularly useful in an area where there is only one dealer. | ![]() | |

| Vernon from North Saanich, BC reported on Sunday, September 11, 2011, buying a 2012 Acura TL, and saving $2,000 off of MSRP. The new Acura TL seemed to be the best value for the money. The wholesale price report was invaluable, as I told the dealer what I would pay for the car, it took a month but they agreed and it was fair a price for both parties. | ![]() | |

| sam from north saanich, BC reported on Thursday, October 04, 2007, buying a 2008 Acura TL, and saving $1,500 off of MSRP. This dealer will bend backwards to try and make a sale and actually that is his general attitude towards helping his customers. The best dealer I found in Victoria. I have bought 3 cars from this dealership throughout the years. I found Acura cars to be excellent..dependable and a pleasure to drive. | ![]() | |

| Nick from Victoria, BC reported on Thursday, December 13, 2007, buying a 2008 Acura TSX, and saving $4,000 off of MSRP. The wholesale price report allowed me to go into the negotiations with confidence. I knew what I was willing to pay because of my budget and because I had the invoiced price of the car as well as all the factory to dealer incentives in my pocket! After some loooonnnnggg negotiations the dealership finally came down to what I wanted to pay. | ![]() | |
