I found it useful to purchase the CE with the convenience package and add cruise control as an additional option separately (and I got this for "free" from the dealership as a sweetener to close the deal) rather than to step up to the enhanced convenience package. This gave me all the options that I really needed (air, cruise, tilt, power locks, remote entry, etc.). The only significant option I had to forego by not stepping up to that was missing was power windows - and this was not worth the significantly greater cost of going to the "enhanced convenience" package.

High consumer rating on the rav4.Using the Car Cost information I thought I was able to make an intelligent 1st offer on the vehicle.

Wholesale report did not help me. They said there is no mark up, don't believe the report. If there is a mark up it is to up keep the sales building.

Mark from Warman, SK reported on Friday, November 04, 2011, buying a 2012 Lexus RX 350, and saving $500 off of MSRP.
The 2012 RX350 replaces our 2005 RX330. We were extremely pleased with the performance and quality of the vehicle, so we automatically approached our local dealer for a new one. Unfortunately, the Wholesale Report did nothing for the purchase. The sales person didn't even want to look at my print out and didn't care that I new what the difference in retail was. My only option was to accept dealer accessories with no adjustment in full MSRP. We managed to get almost $2000 in accessories. I'm not really happy, but this seems to be the normal in my city, as the Audi dealership also told us the cost of the Q5 was full sticker price.
